Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our nursery team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our establishment, ensuring that all areas are welcoming and hygienic. This position will also involve aspects of food preparation and culinary tasks, contributing to the healthy diet for our young children.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all areas, including children's play rooms s, common areas, and kitchen. Perform thorough cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Food preparation and meal preparation as required, adhering to food safety standards. Serving meals and clearing up afterwards. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues promptly. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service are met.

Experience

Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred. Culinary experience or background in food preparation is advantageous. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
