We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic candidates to join our small but diverse team in running our hot food take-away and delivery service.. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment while contributing to the delivery of high-quality meals.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients. Cooking and packing food made to order. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment. Help with serving customers and providing a positive customer experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery during service hours.

Experience

Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Basic culinary skills including food preparation and cooking techniques are advantageous. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards in the kitchen. Experience in a restaurant or catering environment is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are important for success in this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 26 - 40 per week
