Job Overview:

Knockmoyle Lodge is seeking a reliable and motivated

Cook/Kitchen Assistant

(Maternity Cover)

to prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals for our residents in a nursing home setting. You will support the Chef and kitchen team in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals for residents Follow dietary, cultural and medical requirements Assist with menu preparation and portion control Follow all food safety and health & safety guidelines Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role desirable Basic food hygiene knowledge Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
