Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and meal assembly under the guidance of chefs. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen work areas, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Support cooking processes by preparing ingredients, such as chopping vegetables and measuring portions. Help with serving meals and ensuring that all dishes are presented attractively. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols. Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.

Experience

Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous. Understanding of food safety regulations and practices is beneficial. Experience in a restaurant or catering environment will be considered an asset. A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to develop skills in meal preparation and cooking are essential.
