. The role involves preparing and serving quality meals for players, members, and guests, as well as creating buffets and catering for club events.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals for rugby players on training and match days.
Plan, prepare, and present buffets and hot food for club functions, private events, and community gatherings.
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment in line with food safety regulations.
Manage stock levels, order ingredients, and minimise waste.
Work collaboratively with club staff and event organisers to plan menus and catering requirements.
Ensure all food is prepared on time and to a high standard.
Follow all health, hygiene, and safety procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a cook or in a catering environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (Ideally Level 2 Food Hygiene Certified).
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Hours & Pay:
Part-time, flexible day time hours.
Rate of pay dependent on experience.
