We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Culinary Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your culinary expertise will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and hygienic manner, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering services as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Contribute to menu planning by suggesting new dishes or improvements based on seasonal ingredients.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment.
Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Previous kitchen experience is highly desirable, along with a passion for creating delicious meals.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
