Key Responsibilities:Cook Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of meals in accordance with menu specifications and dietary requirements.
Work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment, especially during peak service times.
Manage multiple food orders and ensure timely service.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and stock rotation.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus and improve kitchen operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support daily operations of the leisure centre including cleaning, setting up, and maintaining public areas and equipment.
Provide a high level of customer service to guests using leisure facilities.
Monitor the environment to ensure safety and report any maintenance or health & safety issues promptly.
Assist with events, activities, or special functions as needed.
Provide general support to other departments when required.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a busy commercial kitchen
(minimum 1-2 years).
Relevant food hygiene and safety certifications preferred.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and work efficiently during busy periods.
Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings.
Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for delivering great service.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
