Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene in the kitchen.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. Culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
