We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to perfection and in accordance with our restaurant's standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus. Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment. Assist in the planning of menus, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during busy periods. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in meal preparation and food safety practices. Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines is an advantage. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
