We are a social enterprise cafe and our goal is to provide opportunities to those with a learning difficulty and/or autism seeking a career in the hospitality industry.

Job Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced cook manager to join our team in preparing delicious meals in our cafe. The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring high-quality dishes are served.

Duties:- Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and customer preferences- Assist in developing new dishes and menus- Ensure all food preparation meets food safety standards- Oversee kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness- Monitor and control inventory levels and expenses. Manage a small team, preparing rotas and training staff.

Qualifications:- Proven experience in a cafe setting- Proficient in all aspects of food preparation - Strong knowledge of food safety practices- Excellent communication skills- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment- Relevant culinary qualifications.

Some of our team have a learning difficulty and will require guidance, training and supervision whilst on shift.

Pay: 23,809.50-27,690.00 per year
