Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cook and Server to oversee the daily operations of our popular eatery at the Castle Quarter Food Court in the Castle Mall, Norwich. Giant Yorkie Roast is a unique concept, serving delicious roast dinners in the largest Yorkshire pudding you have ever seen! This is a full time role, working on average 38 hours per week, working 5 day time shifts, including weekends. The ideal candidate will be confident to work on their own, prepping and cooking food before and after service, serving and advising customers, cleaning and adhering to food hygiene regulations.

Duties

Running daily front of house and back of house operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Serving food and drinks as per set standards, prioritising great customer service at all times. Food preparation and cooking and cleaning duties. You are responsible for cooking our giant Yorkies, slow roast meats, vegetables etc, full training will be provided. Handle cash and card transactions accurately and reconcile the till at end of day Key holder, responsible for opening and closing cafe to required standards. Maintain inventory control, ordering supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cafe or restaurant operations, with ability to manage your own workload. Cooking experience preferred, but not essential as training will be provided Exceptional customer service skills and able to use initiative Trustworthy and reliable
