Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Cook/server. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen interest in creating delicious meals. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and that our guests enjoy high-quality dining experiences.

Experience

basic cook experience would be advantageous, but not essential as full training can be given.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established easy recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment. Clean and organise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure efficiency and safety during meal preparation. Participate in training sessions in knowledge of food safety practices.

Skills

Experience advantageous, but not essential as full training will be given. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within a restaurant environment. Again not essential as training can be given to achieve level 2 food hygiene. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A team player who can collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff members. Serve customers/wait on customers and have great customer service. Work the till along with cashing up at the end of the day if required.
