Southern Lubricants Ltd, a leading Lubricant Company in the South West is looking to recruit a Service Engineer to support our expanding Coolant Team in making sure our customers stay HSE compliant through the cleanliness of their CNC Machines and Coolant Management. We are looking for an individual who is well-disciplined, motived and ambitious.
About the role
Southern Lubricants are looking for a new Coolant Service Engineer to join our growing team for an exciting role that will be primarily based within a 40 mile radius of Swindon area around the M4 corridor between Reading and Bristol.
Your responsibilities will be focused around maintaining, servicing and cleaning of CNC machines, equipment and apparatuses of varying types for our customers in a range of locations. You will be working closely with our Business Managers out in the field and will be fully supported by our friendly staff in our Okehampton office.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with an excellent customer service approach and
demonstrate good attention to detail, whilst also confident, friendly and happy to work alone. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided both internally and externally. Using discretion and independence, you will be responsible for the machine cleaning and coolant management of our customer's machinery, equipment and systems, as well as monitoring coolant performance, refractometer readings and dip slides. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring our customers stay HSE compliant through cleanliness of their CNC Machines and Coolant Management.
