We have a range of new activities throughout the country supported by the Unitarian movement and you will help us ensure not only that we have great project coordination, administration but that we have strong and effective timely communications and social media presence.
Currently Unitarian Transformers have a range of projects across the country, all at different stages, and it is likely that we will be exploring how we may have more that can be developed across the coming months.
Our projects are designed to create, support and develop local spiritual gatherings which encourage individuals to be spiritually reflective, explore religious freedom, and value different faiths and perspectives, and ethical principles; As well as finding practical ways in which these local projects can outreach and support local community social action/initiatives.
This is new role and our Projects and Communications Coordinator will need to be:
A self starter who is a real 'people person'!
Someone with great communication gifts and super confident in a wide range of social media, able to promote and market our activities in ways that will inspire others to join in or want to find out more.
Support a wide range of project coordination, having an eye for details, overseeing a range of different activities, and complex timelines.
Support a range of administration tasks and diary management.
Work collaboratively with the Project Development lead to support strong governance and budget management.
To be a point of contact for our local projects colleagues able to spot opportunities for coordinating, marketing, and raising the profile of activities and gatherings.
? Effective communication, marketing and social media skills
? Project coordination, an eye for detail able to balance a busy and varied workload

? Effective time management and able to juggle complex diaries/activities
? Excellent IT skills (email, powerpoint, spreadsheets, social media technology etc)
? Budget management
? Excellent administration skills
Salary
? 13, 650 for a 15hr week - remote working, which can be worked flexibly by mutual agreement.

? 6.2 weeks annual leave including bank holidays pro rata
? Pension contribution (into NEST pension or directly paid into an existing personal pension)
Length of Contract
? 12 months initial contractual arrangement with the possibility of extension
Specifics of the role
? Able to travel with ease to Manchester/Prestatyn area
? Home working and with regular meetings with the Director in the Manchester/Prestatyn area
? Some occasional ravel to projects across the country for a short visit/meeting may be required on occasion (agreed in advance and travel and related expenses covered)
