We are now recruiting for a Co-Pack Supervisorfor our
IPS site in Rugby
on a
Full time and permanent position.
Shift: Monday-Friday 06:00am-14:00pm with flexibility to change to meet business needs.
Salary: 38,000 - 40,000 per annum.
To manage production lines and labour to meet planned volume and commercial targets in accordance with QA and safety standards. To provide the day to day customer contact and to be a role model for best practice at all times.
To effectively motivate a team of people to meet production targets
Ensure the final product meets client specifications (SPI)
To effectively maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basis
Initial point of contact with the Customer
Effectively use the onsite Warehouse Management systems
To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulations
To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures
To ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external
To ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to
Assist in the development of a skills matrix for all production workers
To attend Line leader meetings, and relevant training courses, as and when required
To assist in the identification and development of Line Leaders to promote success planning
To assist in the training and development of new starters
To act as a role model for best practice
Monitor, control and minimise waste
Play an active part in continuous improvement
Qualifications
Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner.
Knowledge of company procedures and actively demonstrates compliance.
Able to positively lead a team of people (temporary labour)
Recognises and promotes the importance of continuous improvement.
Displays a positive attitude to change
Develops best practice and drives continuous improvement in all aspects of performance.
Experience of working in a customer-led environment with changing priorities
Experience of manufacturing machinery and processes
Preferably food or packing experience
