The Scheduler will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimising engineers' schedules across different departments on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, ensuring they have all the necessary information for their tasks. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
What you'll be doing
Meet and greet visitors to the office
Oversee scheduling for contracts
Coordinate appointments and schedule engineers
Inputting job information into work flow system
Address customer and tenant inquiries
Handling incoming and outgoing phone calls in a professional manner
Assist with general administrative tasks
Promptly escalate issues to managers
Participate in regular meetings with project managers/coordinators to discuss progress and deadlines
What we're looking for
Essential:
Experience with customer service skills
Confident in learning new programs
Strong numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills
Proven ability to take initiative and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong administration and organisational skills
Locally based or able to commute
Desirable:
Describe the experience and attributes of the ideal candidate
Knowledge of construction industry
Knowledge of other Microsoft packages
