Location: Manchester Type: Permanent Industry: Retail Job Ref: TGN4861 An established and innovative homewares brand dedicated to creating functional and stylish products that enhance the home living experience. With a commitment to quality and design, they are seeking a talented Copywriter to join their creative team. Duties:

  • Develop compelling and on-brand copy for various marketing channels, including product descriptions, website content, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Craft engaging and persuasive product narratives that highlight key features, benefits, and unique selling points.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all communication channels.
  • Work closely with the marketing, design, and product development teams to understand product offerings and translate key features into customer-friendly language.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences to inform and enhance copywriting strategies.
  • Maintain and develop the brand\xe2\x80\x99s voice, ensuring that all written communication aligns with the brand\xe2\x80\x99s tone and personality.
  • Review and edit copy for accuracy, grammar, and style, ensuring a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns by providing creative input and generating copy that resonates with the target audience.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a copywriter, preferably with a focus on homewares or related products preferred
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of writing samples, including product descriptions, web content, and marketing materials.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating compelling copy for homewares or lifestyle products.
  • Ability to think creatively and contribute innovative ideas to marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of the nuances of brand messaging.
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines.
HOURS OF WORK:
  • 36.25 hours per week
  • (Monday to Thursday 08:45 am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00pm & Fri 8:45am \xe2\x80\x93 3:00pm)
  • Hybrid ( potential) 3 days office +2 days WFH
  • HOLIDAYS: 25 days per year plus statutory bank holidays
