Coral Specialist

to join our team and help elevate our coral offering to the next level.

Role Overview

As our Coral Specialist, you will be responsible for the care, management and presentation of a wide variety of coral species within the store. You will be the go to expert for both customers and team members, ensuring that corals thrive, customers receive accurate guidance and sales continue to grow. Alongside your reef-keeping expertise, you will play an active role in general store operations and help drive engagement through high-quality social media content.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and care for a diverse collection of coral species, ensuring optimal health, water quality and presentation. Draw on extensive hands on experience with SPS, LPS, soft corals and more across retail or wholesale environments. Provide knowledgeable, friendly and engaging customer service to assist hobbyists of all levels. Support daily store duties including livestock checks, cleaning, stock management and general retail tasks. Capture and create high quality social media content that showcases livestock, promotes new arrivals and supports sales growth. Monitor coral stock, identify sales opportunities and help drive continuous improvement in coral turnover and profitability. Increase and manage our online Livestock coral portfolio. Build an extensive rapport with new and existing suppliers. Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing store environment.

What We're Looking For

Extensive knowledge of coral species

and their specific care requirements.

Proven hands on experience

working with corals in a retail or wholesale aquatics setting. Strong understanding of reef systems, lighting, parameters, nutrition, fragging and coral health management. Confident communicator with the ability to engage customers both in store and online. Comfortable producing photos, videos and short form content for social channels. Passionate, reliable, proactive and eager to help build a thriving coral department. Ability to work as part of a supportive, enthusiastic team.

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
