Scalable cost-efficient infrastructure, using cloud PaaS components. Single core platform, open architecture, designed for change, itemised $cost metrics, automated data lineage. Shared across Front Office, Finance and Risk, improving regulatory compliance. One-Platform / One-Experience -fast to train, easy to operate, retaining talent.

The ACQA platform is made up of a series of components providing the next generation valuation and risk management services.

Responsibilities

Design and build core services and applications for our Azure cloud platform


Provide technical guidance to the hundreds of developers contributing to our million-line codebase


Collaborate within a high-performing, delivery-focused team


Learn and develop new technical skills as we look to adopt the best-in-class solutions


Support our community of developers

Skills

Must have


Deep understanding of the Python language


Extensive demonstrable Python ecosystem experience


Expert in Python testing frameworks


Experience Designing, Building and Consuming production quality REST and Streaming APIs


Experience creating Python build and deployment pipelines from the ground up


Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex and robust applications in Python


Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and the desire to work together with stakeholders


Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment


Software engineering background


Nice to have


Object Oriented language (Java, C#, C++ or similar)


Experience building Cloud native applications and working with Kubernetes, Helm and Docker


Familiarity with *NIX platforms and associated tooling


Knowledge of financial derivative products and experience / familiarity with risk management
