The main duties of the role would be:

Contribute to the development, implementation and delivery of commercial strategies and plans to generate corporate revenue and deliver optimum profit margins. Support the department Head in the negotiation and sale of commercial products Develop and build relationships with existing corporate partners and produce and account manage their contracts. Manage the delivery of specific sponsorship packages and activities. Manage the delivery of all showcase packages. Identify and propose new business opportunities, sponsorships and partnerships that deliver to the RIAT vision. This will involve keeping up to date with defence sector activity and researching new customers. Identify and pursue new avenues for displaying sustainable aviation. Manage department revenue generation, including the preparation of budgets and targets, the provision of accurate forecasting, the production and issue of invoices in liaison with the finance team. Develop, manage and maintain the department CRM process in Hubspot. Oversee and engage with the corporate partner nomination process into event guest lists to ensure maximum value is derived from carefully considered seating planning and meeting management. Establish a close working relationship with department colleagues to enable the successful delivery of hospitality offers, events and guest management through efficient and collaborative communication. Establish a close working relationship with the Techno Zone team to enable the successful delivery of corporate showground branding and the delivery of the title sponsorship package.

About you:



We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished professional who is

degree educated or equivalent

, with a

significant and proven track record in a senior management role

. The ideal candidate will bring

commercial expertise in the scoping, planning, and delivery of premium, large-scale national events

, and ideally have

experience working with the military and defence community

.

You will have strong

knowledge of account and stakeholder management

, along with

contractual and financial oversight

, and be confident in using

IT applications and database systems

. Your ability to

work under pressure and to tight deadlines

, coupled with

exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and project planning abilities

, will be key to your success in this role.
