Corporate and Events Fundraiser (Maternity Cover)

Our Service


The post holder will make up a pivotal role in the Fundraising team, which is part of the Leeds Mind Business Development function.

The Role



The successful post holder will be a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with corporate partners and deliver high-impact fundraising events that generate income, raise awareness, and support the charity's mission.

The role is to cover maternity leave via a fixed term contract (12 months).

Essential Skills and Experience:

The candidate must possess

Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills

Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a complex workload to meet deadlines

Be IT literate and ability to manage online and social media marketing

Able to form strong relationships with stakeholders

Able to work as a member of a busy team, often needing to support in other areas as required

Able to lead in an area of work, engaging and enthusing colleagues

Be Experienced In



Corporate and events fundraising for a third sector organisation

Working with a donor database

Working toward specific income generation targets

Managing corporate relationships

Organising and delivering events

Developing new business and events contacts

Awareness of Fundraising Code of Practice

Using Business Development CRM

Liaising between mass participation event organisers, participants and venues

Supporting and supervising volunteers

Hours - 37



Salary - per annum 28,164



Contract - fixed term maternity cover 12 months

Funding Pot:
This role is based at Clarence House but hybrid working is offered. The successful candidate will frequently attend meetings and events across the Leeds area, so own transport is essential.
