You will work as part of Corporate Bank Production Services, bringing an agile and innovative approach to the resolution of user, application and infrastructure incidents. In this role you will be leading a team for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region within the Corporate Bank Technology Production Services team. This function spans three business areas, Securities Services (SES), Trust & Agency Services (TAS) and Trade Finance Lending (TFL). Driving both a reactive and proactive stance to operational activities and the transformation of Service Management in the region, you will focus the team on how our Clients can get the very best service from technology at the bank.

Your key responsibilities



Develop and educate the team on technical and functional subject matter expertise, including the applications/platforms being supported, business flows, data, application architecture and run-time environment Provide hands on technical, functional and leadership support for a suite of complex and globally critical applications Develop and implement strategies to improve performance across key indicators including but not limited to risk and control (e.g. Disaster Recovery) Impact the culture of the organisation, by applying modern thinking, for example, by implementing an SRE mindset and high levels of Observability Drive delivery of automation, application and infrastructure monitoring improvements resulting in highly resilient platforms Flexibility for escalation (after office hours as well as weekends) and weekend cover on a rotation basis to support and enable our business

Your skills and experience



Experience in IT in complex or highly regulated environments, for example in the Financial Services in a client-facing function Strong technical depth covering a broad range of products and platforms such as Java, UNIX, Linux, Middleware, Web-logic, Google Cloud Platform and observability tools such as New Relic Demonstrate high performance and productivity focus, leading teams effectively towards measured improvements in delivery Ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders at all levels of seniority and under pressure Experience in Securities Services or Asset Management would be advantageous
