Role Overview

As the primary contact for a portfolio of corporate and commercial clients, you will lead tailored claims strategies, manage claims from notification to resolution, and work collaboratively across teams to support client retention and growth.

Key Responsibilities


------------------------


Develop and implement bespoke service strategies that align with each client's needs and risk profile.


Proactively manage claims from cradle to grave, ensuring timely notification, monitoring, and resolution in accordance with Thomas Carroll procedures.


Review and verify claim validity prior to submission to insurers.


Support clients through the claims process by coordinating collation of the required documentation whilst proactively facilitating communication with insurers and/or their representatives.


Attend claims investigation and review meetings, acting as a trusted advisor.


Negotiate interim payments and ensure financial records are accurately maintained and reconciled with insurers.


Provide regular client reporting and insightful claims analysis to highlight trends, challenges, and cost-saving opportunities.


Conduct claims audits, deliver training sessions, and support claims preparation efforts.


Collaborate with internal teams ensuring a wrap around with client service and support


Maintain accurate, up-to-date claims records and management information.


Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, insurers, and suppliers.


Promote cross-selling opportunities by introducing clients to other Group interests.


Lead or participate in claims-related projects as required.

Skills & Experience Required


---------------------------------


Strong knowledge of cross-class commercial claims and UK claims procedures.


In-depth understanding of civil and criminal Legal Regulations


Proven experience in a commercial claims environment, coordinating all stakeholders including solicitors, loss adjusters, and surveyors.


Excellent communication and client service skills, with confidence to present to diverse audiences.


Strong organization skills, with excellent diary and caseload management capabilities.


High level analytical skills, with the ability to interpret claims data and identify trends.


CII/CILA Diploma (or working toward) is preferred.


A clear desire to progress within the business and take on increasing responsibility.

Working Conditions

Reporting to our Caerphilly office, with home working arrangements as per company policy.


Travel to client premises and other offices as required.
