What is the opportunity?
The purpose of this role is to:
Support efforts to enhance and protect RBC's reputation in Europe through creative and well-executed communications initiatives.
Assist in delivering communications that align with RBC's wealth management business priorities in the region.
Play an active role in fostering RBC's high-performing culture by embodying and promoting its purpose and values in daily work.
What will you do?
Assist in the planning and delivery of leadership and employee events, intranet and digital communications, major projects, and corporate communication initiatives for Wealth Management and RBC in Europe.
Develop and write engaging intranet content that highlights business updates, strategy, CSR initiatives, and employee profiles.
Draft, format, and distribute organisational announcements and messages related to strategy, change initiatives, culture, and business topics.
Support CSR and Diversity & Inclusion communications across Europe, including coordination with Employee Resource Groups.
Support delivery of impactful leadership and employee events that align with business goals and support culture and engagement.
Collaborate with the PR team to support media relations in the region as needed.
Provide administrative support to the team, such as managing diaries and scheduling meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Work closely with peers in the Brand, Marketing, Communications, and Citizenship (BMCC) group across regions to share best practices and contribute to organizational goals.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Excellent written English and attention to detail.
Internal communications and digital communications experience.
Proactive and tactical practitioner.
Ability to meet consistently high standards of quality while handling a variety of projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Good knowledge of/skills in design / SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel (Microsoft365) and digital platforms.
Nice-to-have
Knowledge and understanding of media, analytics and data would be an advantage.
