Job Overview

We are seeking a junior Corporate Lawyer to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of corporate law and be adept at navigating complex legal frameworks. This role involves providing legal advice to clients on a variety of corporate matters, ensuring compliance with regulations, and representing the organisation in negotiations and transactions.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to protect the interests of the organisation. Advise on corporate governance issues, including compliance with statutory requirements and best practices. Conduct legal research to support corporate transactions and provide informed recommendations. Represent the organisation in negotiations with third parties, ensuring favourable terms are achieved. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategies for risk management and legal compliance. Stay updated on changes in legislation that may impact the organisation's operations or business model. Assist in dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration when necessary.

Skills

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for the organisation's interests. Excellent analytical skills to assess complex legal issues and provide sound advice. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in documentation and compliance matters. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in legal research tools and software relevant to corporate law practice.
