Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Lawyer to join our growing dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal advice and support to our organisation and our startup and scaleup industry clients on a variety of corporate matters, with a focus on fundraising and shareholder matters.

This is a client-facing role with significant responsibility for handling corporate matters end-to-end. Ideally you have experience working in a corporate department within a reputable UK law firm.

Responsibilities



Manage angel investment fundraising matters end-to-end Draft, review and negotiate documents in corporate transactions including both principal and ancillary agreements. Advise clients on shareholder and investor matters. Advise on fundraising, M&A and other corporate transactions. Represent the company in communications, calls and negotiations with external parties. Work directly with the founder and wider legal team. Assist in dispute resolution processes as needed.

Skills



Qualified UK solicitor, ideally with at least 2 years PQE Transactional experience in a UK law firm corporate department Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate for our clients' interests effectively. Proficient in drafting and reviewing complex legal documents. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. Practicalities



This is initially a flexible part-time role with scope for growth into a full-time role. Fully remote working is accepted.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 30,000.00-64,000.00 per year
