Are you a strategic leader with a passion for early intervention, prevention, and community wellbeing? We are looking for an inspirational and experienced professional to join our senior leadership team as Corporate Lead Officer - Porth Cymorth Cynnar. This is a pivotal role, providing corporate leadership across a portfolio of vital services including:
Early intervention and support
Wellbeing centres
Housing services
Carers and community support
Parenting, youth work and engagement
Play and physical activity
Prevention and support pathways
Key Responsibilities
As the Corporate Lead Officer, you will:
Act as the Council's strategic advisor on early intervention and wellbeing
Develop and implement innovative, citizen-focused strategies
Lead cross-service planning and delivery in line with Council objectives
Collaborate with partners and elected members to drive performance and improvement
Ensure services are delivered within budget while maintaining high quality and compliance
Inspire and manage teams to deliver effective, coordinated support services across the county
About You
To excel in this role, you will have:
Proven experience in strategic planning and service transformation
Strong understanding of public service delivery, particularly in early help and prevention
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Financial acumen and a track record of managing budgets and external funding
A commitment to collaborative working and continuous improvement
