Job Description

Empire Security are looking for a Corporate Security Officer to work as part of a team at one of our prestigious site based in Birmingham Colmore Row.

Permanent Hours

Mon-Fri 07:00-13:00, 30hrs per week

Mon-Fri 13:00-19:00, 30 hours per week

Overtime available.

Responsibilities:

-Monitor and operate CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Conduct regular patrols to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized entry
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records

- Assist Building Security Manager

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or relevant position
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent

Note: Loss prevention experience is a plus, but not required.
