About the Job:

Fahrenheit Security is currently seeking an experienced corporate security officer to work in a High Profile Corporate Building in Plymouth.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a great presentation, be extremely personable and be capable of working in a front of house corporate environment meeting and greeting visitors and tenants. The nature of this role demands the officer to be an excellent communicator utilising customer service and security skills. Excellent time keeping and able to deal with early starts to facilitate the opening of the building each day. Oversee and enforce rigorous access control protocols to ensure the secure entry and exit of all personnel, contractors, and visitors in a high-security environment. Manage physical security systems Continuously monitor CCTV and behaviour within the facility to detect anomalies, unauthorized access attempts, or insider threats. Lead the implementation of advanced personnel screening procedures, including badge management, escort protocols, and visitor logging, in line with corporate and legal standards. Actively support corporate counterintelligence initiatives by identifying, assessing, and mitigating internal and external threats. Conduct threat assessments on intelligence-gathering, espionage, or potential sabotage. Collaborate with executive leadership, legal, IT security, and compliance teams to ensure a unified and proactive approach to corporate threat mitigation. Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and integrity. Develop and regularly update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for access control and counterintelligence operations. Stay informed on emerging security threats, industry best practices, and evolving technologies to ensure the organization remains resilient and ahead of potential risks.

Hours and Rate:

Monday to Sunday, 12hrs per day

Days & Nights

Shifts 15 - 16 per hour.

Essential Requirements:

Current Frontline SIA Door Supervisor license and CCTV Licence. Verifiable 5 year work history to BS 7858. Right to work in the UK. Recent Criminal Record Check. Ability to work on your own and be part of a team. Flexibility. Confidence in dealing with the public. Strong verbal communication skills. Good written communication skills.

Military or law enforcement experience is highly valued and considered a strong asset.
