Corporate Tax Associate - Leading International Practice - Birmingham/hybrid working Are you a corporate tax lawyer ready to step up into a national, deal-driven practice where your technical skills are valued, your development is supported, and your career path is clear? You'll advise top-tier clients on headline-grabbing transactions, with genuine scope to progress to Legal Director and beyond. The Opportunity Working as part of a 90+ strong national Corporate, Finance & Tax Group, you'll advise on the tax aspects of complex, high-value transactions for major corporates, private equity houses, funds, and financial institutions. Clients include Blackstone, ASDA, Meta, BioNTech, and Rothesay Life-so the work is fast-paced, cutting-edge, and commercially significant. You'll be involved in: National and international M&A, disposals, and corporate restructurings Strategic tax planning and deal structuring Group reorganisations and balance sheet engineering Private funds and joint ventures Employee share schemes and management incentives Public market transactions including IPOs and secondary fundraisings This is a technically stimulating role where you'll collaborate with colleagues across the firm and contribute to shaping tax strategy on key deals. What You'll Bring 2+ years' PQE in corporate tax (in private practice or in-house) A strong technical grounding in transactional tax Commercial insight and client-facing experience Experience in private equity or fund structuring (a plus, not essential) A collaborative mindset, and interest in mentoring and sharing knowledge Enthusiasm for contributing to team initiatives, training, and business development What's In It for You?
