Working within the tax team as Corporate Tax Manager you will play an important role assisting the Senior Tax Manager, Christine White. The Corporate Tax Manager will play a critical role in ensuring all tax compliance matters are dealt with in line with HMRC legislative guidance. You will be joining our small but enthusiastic and talented tax team, who are committed to ensuring that the business meets all its tax compliance objectives.





Christine is dedicated to delivering a first-class tax compliance service across the business, working in all areas of tax including VAT, PAYE and Corporate tax. The tax team work together on several diverse and interesting tax queries, by drawing on expertise and experience. The team prides itself on being friendly and approachable when delivering tax advice to internal and external stakeholders. Christine values diversity in experience and perspective to foster good decision making and problem solving within their team.





This is a rare chance to shape the future of Tax, in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose. Working with key stakeholders and a professional tax team you will ensure efficient, consistent and effective resolution of arising tax compliance issues and have the opportunity to help create robust processes to assist in managing tax compliance throughout the business.





The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic projects around England. There are some exciting and ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the Tax team.





A bit about you...





Whilst our day job is to deliver a first-class service to our stakeholders on Corporate Tax matters, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.





You'll be comfortable supporting the Senior Tax Manager with complex tax issues, aiming to ensure all compliance requirements are met.





Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn't always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a Tax team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.
