Corporate Tax Manager

A growing accountancy practice is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to take responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of corporate tax projects and providing clear, accurate advice to clients. This position involves overseeing the delivery of technical work, supporting senior leaders, and guiding team members to ensure consistent service standards.

Responsibilities

Manage corporate tax assignments and monitor progress to ensure timely completion. Support senior team members with planning, delivery and review of technical work, including R&D claims, capital allowances, share schemes, due diligence and restructuring projects. Prepare and review written reports and provide constructive feedback to colleagues. Maintain quality and accuracy across client deliverables and ensure invoices are issued on time. Act as a key point of contact for clients, responding to queries and maintaining strong working relationships. Work with colleagues across departments to plan and deliver assignments within agreed budgets. Carry out performance reviews, set objectives and support the development of team members.

Requirements

ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualification, with at least two years' post-qualification experience. Knowledge of corporate tax compliance and advisory work, including areas such as international tax, capital gains and income tax. Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with experience supervising team members. Willingness to continue developing technical knowledge. Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
