Role Overview
This senior role offers the opportunity to lead key client relationships and manage complex tax projects that shape the future of our tax practice. You will work closely with partners and senior leaders to develop and execute strategies supporting both client success and business growth, while also guiding the general practice team.
The role is autonomous, with responsibility for managing projects, maximising fee income, spotting business opportunities, controlling work-in-progress, and overseeing billing.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering expert advisory on M&A, tax due diligence, share option schemes, restructures, reorganisations, succession, exit planning including buybacks, capital reductions, and MBOs.
Conduct technical compliance reviews of corporate tax computations prepared by the team.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and identifying new service opportunities.
Stay updated on tax legislation changes and share insights with clients and teams to ensure compliance and planning opportunities.
Contribute to strategic development of the corporate tax department, including business development and process improvement initiatives.
Represent the practice at client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
Ideally, possess some knowledge or experience in personal tax, VAT, and Stamp Duty/Stamp Duty Land Tax.

Salary
50,000 - 70,000 per annum (depending on experience)
