Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting scientific research and product development while ensuring compliance with quality control standards. This role requires a strong background in biochemistry and experience with laboratory information management systems, as well as a commitment to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The Chemist will play a crucial role in advancing our projects and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

Responsibilities

Conduct experiments and analyses to develop new products and improve existing formulations. Perform quality control tests to ensure products meet specified standards and regulations. Maintain accurate records of laboratory work, including data entry into laboratory information management systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support scientific research initiatives. Ensure compliance with GMP and safety regulations within the laboratory environment. Prepare reports summarising findings and present results to stakeholders. Troubleshoot issues that arise during experiments and propose solutions.

Experience

Degree (BSc/MSc)

in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field 1-3 years of experience in cosmetic/skin-care formulation or a similar lab role Familiarity with

GMP/ISO?22716

and regulatory aspects for cosmetics Strong understanding of raw materials (actives, emulsifiers, preservatives, etc.) Practical lab skills: weighing, mixing, bench testing, stability trials Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail Effective communication and teamwork abilityIf you are passionate about chemistry and eager to contribute to innovative projects, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
