We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Factory Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while meeting quality standards. Responsibilities
Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
Develop and implement production schedules to optimise efficiency and resource allocation.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials for production.
Lead, train, and mentor factory staff to promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with other departments such as logistics, quality assurance, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
Prepare reports on production performance, including metrics related to efficiency, waste reduction, and quality control.
Skills
Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in using manufacturing software and data analysis tools.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing operations.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
