Cost Accounting Assistant

Location: Devon (Onsite)

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Artisans and Artists is a leading property development and refurbishment company, proudly operating from our Devon-based design studio showroom. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cost Accounting Assistant to join our growing team.

Working within the accounts and admin team, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our client projects

Key Responsibilities

Accurate production of project cost sheets Monitoring of actual against budgets Reporting and highlighting variances in real time to the project directors / project coordinators / accounts team.
Skills & Experience

We're seeking a cost accounting assistant with a strong foundation in cost accounting practices and systems.

You should be confident working with:

Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting Developing and improving accounting/reporting systems A working knowledge of Xero accounting is an advantage
About You

Professional, friendly, and discreet in all dealings Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a small, dynamic team Strong mathematical and written English skills Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Outlook Ideally you will have trained within an accounting firm
