Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting clients in their mental health journey, utilising evidence-based practices to facilitate healing and personal growth. This role requires a deep understanding of therapeutic techniques and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Duties

Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. Develop and implement treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and client goals. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support for clients. Stay informed about the latest developments in therapeutic practices through continuous professional development. Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Engage in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance therapeutic skills and effectiveness.

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in counselling, psychology, social work, or a related field is essential. Registration with a relevant professional body is preferred. Proven experience in providing therapy or counselling services is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise and connect with clients effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective documentation and collaboration. Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, person-centred therapy) is beneficial. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions.
