What

you'll be doing (in a nutshell):



In this hybrid role, you'll split your time between home working and providing in-person counselling from our Newark Hospital site (Boundary Road, Newark NG24 4DE). As part of our clinical team, you'll offer short-term, solution-focused therapy to employees across various sectors--helping clients manage both work-related and personal challenges. This includes depression, anxiety, family concerns, financial worries, and more.

Day to day you can expect to:




Deliver short-term, solution-focused counselling (face-to-face, telephone, and virtual) Conduct clinical assessments, manage risk, and complete sessional notes Support our triage and management teams from home Refer clients for ongoing psychological support where appropriate Provide psychoeducation and signpost clients to external services Support employees and managers through advice, calls, and brief interventions Contribute to internal CBT programmes and handle escalated risk calls Offer on-site counselling from the Newark Hospital site at least once per week

To be successful

you'll have:



A minimum Level 4 Diploma or Postgraduate qualification in Counselling/Psychotherapy Registered or accredited membership with BACP or NCS (essential) At least

2 years

' post-qualification counselling experience and

400+

clinical hours Confidence in delivering short-term, solution-focused therapy across multiple formats Experience working within an EAP or multidisciplinary environment An understanding of trauma-informed approaches

You'll also bring:



Strong digital literacy (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, case management systems, secure file handling) Ability to manage your own caseload and complete reports accurately Familiarity with CORE Net (or similar clinical data platforms) Commitment to professional standards and continuous improvement Excellent organisational and communication skills

Application 30 minute call with a member of the TA team 60-minute video call with Hiring Manager and one other team member
