Lanes Counselling

is seeking a compassionate, self-employed

Child and/or Adolescent Therapist

to join our welcoming clinic in

Arundel, West Sussex

. This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified or experienced professionals to build their own

profession

within a supportive, private practice, established in 2013.

We specialise in a wide range of therapeutic services and are looking for a therapist to support young people with

mental health issues

About the Role

Work

in-person

at our Arundel clinic (therapy room provided), with occasional remote sessions. Support

children and adolescents

presenting with a variety of emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges. We have a particular focus on

trauma-informed therapy and supporting neurodiverse children and young people

. Minimum of

1 days per week

, with a preference for

afternoon/evening availability

.

Requirements

Qualification in counselling or psychotherapy with a

specialism in working with children and adolescents

.

Membership with an accredited body

(e.g. BACP, UKCP) is

desirable

. Experience in trauma-informed approaches; confident supporting clients through complex issues.

Enhanced DBS

check and professional indemnity insurance. Must be based within a

20-mile radius of Arundel

, able to work on-site and commute there. Excellent assessment and report writing skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
