Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Assistant to join our team here ar shukers farm shop. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while occisionally assisting with food preparation and ensuring a clean and efficient work environment. You must be comfortable handling raw meat.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and assisting with their orders. Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for order totals. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, including equipment and utensils Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure customer satisfaction.
We would like an individual with all the skills needed to join our team on a flexible basis we could happily offer 2 permanent set days a week (including 1 day at a weekend) if needed.
But the ideal candidate will also be happy to pick up extra to cover annual leave. The hours of work will be 8.30-5.30
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: 18,315.00-31,626.46 per year
Expected hours: 9 - 30 per week
Work Location: In person
