We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated counter staff to join our vibrant team. We are a family run and owned fish and chip shop based in Bolton. Established in 2014. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our chip shop, making it essential for you to possess strong hospitality skills and a passion for food.
Responsibilities
Take and process customer orders accurately, providing recommendations when necessary.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
Assist in training new staff members, fostering a supportive team environment.
Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Support management in supervising daily operations and maintaining high service standards.
Skills
Proven experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred.
Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate team members effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
Knowledge of food production processes and culinary practices is advantageous.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations.
