Job Description

As a Medicine Counter Assistant in a community pharmacy, you will be the first point of contact for patients and customers, providing friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service. Working under the guidance of a registered pharmacist, you will assist with the sale and supply of over-the-counter medicines, offer advice on minor ailments, and ensure customers receive safe and effective care. Your responsibilities will also include processing prescriptions, managing stock levels, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and supporting the overall efficiency of the pharmacy.

As a Pharmacy Dispenser in a community pharmacy, you will be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and labeling prescriptions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. You will ensure that medicines are dispensed accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service and maintaining patient confidentiality. Your role will also involve offering advice on the use of medications, managing stock and inventory, and supporting the pharmacist in delivering a safe and effective pharmacy service.

Attention to detail, good communication skills, and a strong understanding of pharmacy procedures are essential in helping meet the healthcare needs of the local community.
