Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared according to safety and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area and kitchen. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for order totals. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Manage time effectively to maintain efficient workflow during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Basic culinary skills and kitchen experience are advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour. A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
