The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service, handling over-the-counter sales, and supporting the pharmacy team with daily tasks. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and professionally, answering their queries and directing them to the appropriate person or section.
Over-the-Counter Sales:
Accurately process sales of non-prescription medications, toiletries, and other retail items using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Stock Management:
Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and tidy.
Prescription Intake:
Receive prescriptions from customers and accurately input patient information into the pharmacy system for processing by the pharmacist.
General Support:
Maintain a clean and organized counter and front-of-house area, answer phones, and assist the pharmacy team with administrative tasks as needed.
Compliance:
Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software (e.g., pharmacy management system, POS).
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
A friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable and punctual.
A basic understanding of pharmacy operations is a plus, but not essential as training will be provided.
