Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all items are prepared according to safety and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space. Handle cash transactions efficiently, using basic maths skills to ensure accurate billing. Promote menu items through effective upselling techniques. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Adhere to food safety regulations at all times, ensuring a safe dining experience for customers. Manage time effectively to handle peak periods without compromising service quality.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are crucial. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and order calculations are necessary. A passion for customer service and a willingness to learn new skills will be beneficial.
