Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, ensuring a positive dining experience. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, adhering to food safety regulations. Manage time efficiently to ensure timely service during peak hours. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of food orders. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards customers and team members. A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment is essential.
