Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Counter Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to customers, preparing food items, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary and hospitality skills within a dynamic setting. Previous restaurant or food service experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction Prepare and serve food items in accordance with safety standards and company procedures Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, adhering to food safety regulations Restock supplies as needed and assist in kitchen tasks when required Provide friendly and professional service, creating a welcoming environment for all customers Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or similar roles is desirable but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash register operations Experience in kitchen or culinary environments is a plus Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance customer experience and sales Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour Organised with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ideally know mandarin or cantonese WORK IS ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY (Bank holidays you may be required to work)
