Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Counter Staff to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our front-of-house operations, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and maintaining a clean and organised environment. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a passion for face to face interactions.

Shifts available are Wednesday to Saturday 4pm to 9.30pm

Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently. Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area and kitchen. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Manage time effectively to meet customer demands during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in a fast moving kitchen/restaurant is an advantage but not essential. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic understanding of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for engaging with customers. This role is ideal for those looking to develop their skills in customer service and the hospitality industry while contributing to a vibrant team atmosphere.
