Responsibilities

Serve customers efficiently at the counter, taking orders and processing payments accurately Prepare food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained Assist in food preparation tasks, including assembling ingredients and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, upselling menu items, and ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, including sanitising surfaces and equipment Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to food safety standards Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not essential Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations Experience with food preparation, serving, or culinary tasks is advantageous Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Kitchen experience or culinary background is desirable but not mandatory Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with customers Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
