Description





In this role you will: - Drive the growth of the App Store, Arcade, Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Books, Apple News & Apple Podcasts businesses in the U.K, Ireland & Israel. - Exert a deep understanding of what it means to be the custodian of a brand, reflecting real passion for being a market leader and being evangelical about delivering a superlative experience to customers. - Show a high degree of executive credibility, in order to help shape major decisions within fast evolving businesses. - Manage numerous Apple partners locally & globally and bring them towards a compelling vision. - Break vision down into a concrete strategy, taking into consideration local nuances, with clear objectives for each of your team members. - Track and communicate progress; course correcting actions or coaching team members when appropriate are other daily key requirements. In summary, our ideal candidate will demonstrate a mix of strategic and functional skills, as well as people management experience and a commitment to delivery and deadlines. A substantial leadership record, ability to influence multiple partners at C-Level, and a detailed understanding of - and empathy with - the Apple brand and its products is crucial for success in the role. This role is based at our office in Battersea Power Station, London.




Minimum Qualifications



Understanding, knowledge and experience of the UK content market. A senior leader with experience of leading and motivating a team of highly accomplished leaders. Strategic planning combined with a commercial approach to drive awareness and business growth. Proactive, extraordinarily driven and highly adaptable with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Able to define a plan and balance priorities, providing outstanding direction to the team in the region to deliver results. Outstanding analytical skills: Able to translate data into insights and draw business conclusions. Comfortable defining strategies for multiple digital content businesses at different stages of development, implementing tailor-made strategies across each to drive long-term growth.


Preferred Qualifications



Natural networker capable of building strong ties to existing and new C-Level partners across multiple and very different businesses. Demonstrable experience of working on complex, often global, large-scale, and time-critical projects. Deep connection to the arts, tech and media landscape in the U.K; and experience working closely with artists, creators & software developers. Experience working in multiple lines of content businesses (LOBs) i.e Music, TV, Apps
